We love the close-knit family community most at Chen Su Lan Methodist Child Care. From the security guard that greets us every day to the parents that pitch in to help! The teachers are warm, patient and creatively teach the kids based on their learning abilities. My sons have greatly benefitted from their guidance socially, emotionally, academically and character building.

At the time when we were looking for a preschool, we were sold on their generous outdoor space. It’s used for more than just play. The teachers make use of it in all sorts of activities.

My sons loved the delicious, healthy home cooked food! We had no problems with even my eldest who is a picky eater.

Last, I have to hand it to the leadership at Chen Su Lan. Jenny Tan, who is the Principal, helps us feel comfortable that our boys are safe and well cared for. She keeps the curriculum up to date and accommodates to our family’s needs well. In these Covid years she has fiercely kept our children safe, communicated well and is always there. We are grateful for the leadership and staff for creating such a safe, inclusive and happy environment for them. We are excited to have our little daughter start her Chen Su Lan journey next year.

尤其难忘的是有一次，孩子在幼儿园调皮，被老师批评了。老师在放学时亲自送孩子出来，当面说明当天的情况，还告诉孩子：“虽然你犯了错，老师批评了你，但是老师还是爱你的”。简单但发自内心的一句话，让孩子体会了被原谅、被爱的感觉，我对老师的做法是支持的，并且感恩能遇到这么善良又有耐心的老师！

作为家长，我们对幼儿园的各个方面都非常满意，感谢老师们的辛勤付出，并希望孩子能在这里度过美好的童年。”

"Our eldest went through a few other preschools before settling into Chen Su Lan Methodist Childcare and we haven't looked back since. While the other preschools were all good in their own ways, CSL really stood out for its team of dedicated principal and teachers, faith-based approach in inculcating the right values in our children and a strong focus on learning through play by incorporating outdoor play and varied activities like show and tell, art & craft, and music & movement. Our first born, who has since graduated, transitioned really well into Primary School and our second born loves school so much, he wants to be there as early as possible everyday. Given how formative the preschool years are, we are grateful to have CSL partner with us in educating our children."
