Volunteer Opportunities |

Volunteers play an important role in the lives of the children at the Home. They give their time and demonstrate commitment in the tasks they were assigned to do. Volunteers also serve as role models for children. |

Training for volunteers |
|
Volunteers are encouraged to attend training programmes from time to time. These training programmes will be conducted by the Home’s Staff or by external speakers/educators. The objective is to equip the volunteer with skills and knowledge to enable them to understand, manage and relate to the children. |

Rainbows (1 year programs) |
|
Volunteers (at least 1 yr service) will be sent for the
‘Rainbows Facilitator’s Programme’ by HELP
(Help Every Lone Parent) FSC (Family Service
Centre) to be eligible to facilitate a Rainbow Group. Rainbows programme is a peer support group work facilitated by a trained volunteer, who helps the child cope with the loss of a family member experiencing a divorce or death of a significant other. |
