A Wonderful happening in our Home :
Join a small but growing group of like-minded people for
an unique opportunity to be a sponsor and mentor to a
child through the Sponsor/ Mentor a Child Programme.
Our Home provides care and nurture to develop the
spiritual, educational, social, physical and emotional
well-being of the children. These children come from
disadvantaged family background where basic needs of the
children are not met. Some of these families are unable
to provide adequate support and care or a safe and
secured home environment for them to live in.
The sponsorship programme helps the children directly in
meeting their basic needs mainly, in school related
assistance, school pocket money, meals and personal
effects.
A mentor in this programme plays an extremely important
role in establishing a child’s place in the world : to
give them a sense of self-worth, confidence, identity,
connectivity and belonging. It is a necessary step
towards healing and helping a child to feel hopeful
again.
Be a part of a child’s life, be involved. Inspire them to
aspire above their present circumstances, aid and
encourage them in overcoming obstacles and fears through
your love, generosity and friendship.
